A Long Island general construction contractor is looking to submit a completed Long Island Historic Restoration project for a prestigious New York State Award. The application for the award includes a narrative that will involve interviewing key individuals who were part of the design and construction of the project. The contractor is seeking to hire a writer who is willing to help prepare the narrative application, which is due by October 1, 2021.
The award emphasizes the construction team, not only the general contractor or construction manager, but also many others — the owner, architect, engineer, subcontractors, suppliers, and craftspeople — who contribute to the success of a project.
