The Press Club of Long Island hosted an evening with award-winning writer Michael D’Antonio, author of NEVER ENOUGH: Donald Trump and the Pursuit of Success.
D’Antonio spoke about his more than one dozen books, particularly his newly released chronicle of Trump’s rise to wealth and fame as well as the scandals and controversies that have marked his long career in the media spotlight.
NEVER ENOUGH draws on multiple exclusive interviews with “the Donald,” his adult children Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric and on interviews with his former wives Ivana Trump and Marla Maples.
D’Antonio, a former Washington correspondent, was part of a Pulitzer Prize winning team at Newsday. He has been awarded the prestigious Alicia Patterson Fellowship and The Humanitas Prize for the Showtime television film Crown Heights.
His many acclaimed books include biographies of Milton Hersey, Thomas Lipton, and baseball mogul Walter O’Malley as well as THE STATE BOYS REBELLION and most recently, MORTAL SINS: Sex Crime and the Era of Catholic Scandal.
