The Press Club of Long Island held its annual Holiday Show and Dinner, Thursday, December 1 at the Hilton Long Island hotel in Melville. Attendees watched as journalists performed satirical songs and skits about the news and newsmakers of 2011 in the clubs popular parody.
Members of the working press, public relations professionals, local politicians, business executives, military and fire department figures came to support the club and brought toys PCLI donated to local charities.
County Fire Commissioners arranged that the U.S. Marines attend and take the toys for the Marines’ Toys For Tots program.
