PCLI board member David North of WALK-FM recently discussed the Long Island Pine Barrens Protection Act on its 20th anniversary. The video production was presented at Oheka Castle for the Pine Barrens Society Anniversary Celebration a couple of weeks ago.

The legislation removed 50,000 acres from potential development to preserve open space and protect drinking water supplies for Long Island’s 2.8 million people.
